>ZZZT! In my time in Gotham City prior to and after the revelation of my true identity, I've encountered and confronted crooks, criminals, lunatics and maniacs that were proven more dangerous after the next. Joker, Riddler, Two-Face, Penguin, Victor Zsasz...You name one, I know one. But there's one super-criminal that intrigued me the most. One that is unlike any other villain in Gotham: Mutatron. Mutatron is a super criminal with quite an odd background. One unique of any other adversary I faced. He possesses the traits of a standard cartoonish individual: a charismatic demeanor, an over-the-top sense of humor, and a rubbery body that is capable of squashing and stretching his limbs beyond normal length. Mutatron wields an arsenal of cartoonish prop-based gadgets and weapons, including a giant mallet, a bottle of seltzer, a pack of dynamite and a custard-cream pie. He's also a master of disguise, as he uses countless costumes and alternate voices to decieve civilians, criminals and authorities alike. Mutatron first came to Gotham on December 15th, 2006, and since arriving, has committed a series of legal infractions a mile long, such as robbery, harassment, vandalism, hooliganism, littering, destruction of public and private property, trespassing, unauthorized use of explosives, identity theft, larceny, tax evasion, postal fraud...the list goes on. He is mischievous, sneaky, clever and, obviously, completely crazy. His chaos and appearance practically rivals that of The Joker. Some might say Mutatron is an earlier version of him, though he hates being compared like that. However, Mutatron is different compared to my usual adversaries. While most villains in Gotham or anywhere else in my world cause mayhem and destruction for the desire of power, money, control, or just for the sake of chaos, or just to destroy me, Mutatron does it for the thrill...for the fun of being bad. Mutatron doesn't desire to grab power or bring misery or do anything to hurt innocent people, even if he's robbing them blind. He values human life, as he treats them as an audience for his antics...and doesn't kill because one: if he did, nobody would be "Around for a second show", and two: he finds murder disgusting and gross. I can respect a criminal that has some form of moral restraint. Mutatron also despises authority, due to his experience with the corruption within Gotham's political and police systems, as well as the government systems that were abused by the people that were supposed to serve and care for their country. Despite his chaotic nature, Mutatron is a caring person and always commits his crimes without any extremes in any way, and doesn't allow any harm to come to anyone, especially when he reluctantly has to save the day on most occassions when others wouldn't be able to, and sometimes allies himself with me to do it. Lastly, I noticed something else about Mutatron's background. It seems to have some sort of connection to Harry Cavatica, a long-deceased actor that played a more ficticious version of Mutatron back in the mid-1900s. There is no confirmation that Mutatron is, in fact, Harry Cavatica somehow revived or someone else, but it could be the former. I will need to investigate further to uncover more about this potential theory. In conclusion, Mutatron's characteristics and demeanor and moral restraints make him completely unique and different from most of Gotham's Criminal Underworld. While he is still a criminal himself, Mutatron exhibits no traditional malicious intent, only a love for mischief and cartoonish antics. It's possible that he might be capable of rehabilitation and choosing a better path. In fact, it is likely that's what he wanted his whole life. I will keep monitoring his activities to learn more about him. Mutatron is still a major enigma, despite being around for over a decade. But if there is any hope for him, then there might be hope he could choose a life much better than that of a super criminal. The only question that remains regarding that is...what life will that be? A life away from Gotham...or one of a potential hero? The answer to that question...is entirely up to Mutatron.<ZZZT!
