Honestly, I was disappointed with most of this game.
Late reply:
You're good. I didn't take it as harsh, plus it was something that needed to be added. :)
I personally use the term "Toolbar" or "Drop Down Menu" myself. I'm not certain how others term it, but I understood what you meant.
Here's a reply:
Don't needlessly tag people in a Discussion thread just to get interest in your post.
Also, how exactly am I ignoring this fandom site? I make edits all the time as well as post comments.
Sorry about that! Not sure why I didn't do it earlier.
I went ahead and added it as well as sub-links to the Characters, Locations, and Challenge Maps.
If anything else like that is needed don't hesitate to directly message an admin.

It would be between City and Knight. Hard choice.
@Bianca Bellaschnee Gotta agree with Classic Harley! So much better than anything she's had lately.
Also, I'm thinking the same with the Roman stand-in (we also kinda say that on the wiki page as well).
They were all great but Matter of Family is my fave simply for the setting and of course cuz we get to play Batgirl, making the Bat Family complete.
Batman "The criminals (Task Force X) did well following his plan."
So, Batman's plan somehow involved Wonder Woman being killed????
Ughhhhhhh... I'm just glad this nightmare is over.
Agreed. Plus the Rite of Passage DLC focused on the character in his Wayne persona as opposed to the Batman.
Oh god yeah we need separate pages for Batman and Bruce Wayne, if we didn't then we'd have the world's longest page with how much stuff would need to be either included or even updated with new information and releases in the series.
If that ain't the truth. :/
There's already enough bloat on this wiki as there is. One page for Brainiac is fine.
As @TheWelshDude points out it's just the same Brainiac. His personality, etc is just downloaded into each body - that's it. The variant Mrs Freeze, Elseworld Joker, Elseworld Deadshot, etc are literally different people.
There is more of an argument for the separate Jason Todd/Arkham Knight pages and Batman/Bruce Wayne pages than there is for different Brainiacs.
For now, we're considering it canon, yes. Same with Origins.
"Maybe by that time everyone will suddenly decide that they love Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League."
Yeah, I'm smashing that X Button for "doubt".
If anything, SS:KtJL should be relegated to a costly lesson.
To be completely fair... they probably will in the January release. However, the whole game was just so poorly done, from writing through understanding their own fandom to final execution (pardon the pun).
"I think we have to rescue both Batman and Superman in the final episode of the game. There's no other way it has to end."
Actually there is... :(
"Unfortunately, yes. She was killed by the clone Superman that Brainiac made. Not only that, but when she died she blew away as ashes. So that way, Brainiac couldn't collect a sample of Wonder Woman to bring her back."
Oh I know what occurred; I just meant since they're bringing back other members of the JL, why not her as well?
I do wonder if they'll ever revisit this game in the future to resolve all of the things they left unfinished. My understanding is this is the last episode, so probably not. Suicide Squad: Kill the Arkham Franchise is DEFINITELY a miss on Rocksteady's part. :/
And so Wonder Woman just stays dead? :/
I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed.
More so than they are now? Who can say?
Yes, I understand that. I just don't think the change added anything negative to it, as in THAT is not why my experience was diminished with the game.
Especially when you have Debra Wilson being used for Amanda Waller and them using her likeness for the character.
Also, the game is not fun; I'd rather not associate those voice actors with the game. :/
Edit: I understand though if it took away from your experience, and why that may be an issue from your perspective.
I do agree with some previous points made about the failings of the Suicide Squad game:
Making the game an online live service looter shooter was just a terrible idea. This greedy money-grabbing idea of studios need to be done away with. If the formula for the old games isn't broke don't change it.
Making Deadshot a black character because of the 2016 Suicide Squad movie. This was a stupid reason to completely change the character who was not only popular in the games, but also the Assault on Arkham animated film. If their reasoning was also to be "more inclusive" they could have included characters like Bronze Tiger but they chose not to do that.
Making the Justice League's deaths anti-climatic. Yeah, this was one of the worst offenses they committed.
Repetitive gameplay, and (to a lesser extent) the necessity of the inclusion of guns with every character though the latter is more because of the game's poor design.
No incentive to explore the game world(s) they created. Everything's loud, colorful, obnoxious and explosive. There's not really a reason to investigate and explore as in the Arkham games, which is a shame because the open world (once you look past all of those god-awful color/visual effects) wasn't too bad.
The god-awful color/visual effects - Even with being able to turn off some of them, they were still obnoxious.
Would be nice to see characters from someone else's roster instead of the vast majority being Batman's or from the Arkham games.
Their new characters were also, in my opinion at least, rather trash:
Elseworld's Joker - this loser was not appealing at all. It's like playing Joker Lite. I feel for the VA who had to follow in Mark Hamill's shoes, but the character was unfunny and unfun.
Mrs. Freeze - whyyyyyyyy??? Let me start by saying the Freeze mechanics were actually top tier imo. That aside though, WHO ASKED FOR THIS CHARACTER? If we're going to have an ice-themed villain, give me Captain Cold, or Killer Frost. Both of them would have been great to play, plus it would have been someone else's villains as opposed to yet another Batman villain.
Also, if we want to change up the dynamic with the Mr. Freeze character, have the Else-world's version of Nora Fries be the one in the armor seeking a cure for Victor Fries; that way at least, Nora isn't constantly the victim in the story. Give her some strength and agency as well. BUT NOPE! They chose to go a different route.
Lawless - facepalm and cringe all in one. I just... I just don't understand her inclusion. They have an entire Comic Book Universe's worth of villains to add to the roster and they chose... Lawless? lol - gimme a friggin' break.
This dev team has no business making new characters. Can't wait to see how they manage to screw-up Deathstroke. :/
For all of its faults, I don't think the VAs were as much a detriment to the Suicide Squad.
For example (there were many, but these are but a few):
Arkham Asylum was successful, but Tom Kane voices Jim Gordon, whereas Bob Hastings voiced him in B:TAS
Dino Andrade voiced Scarecrow in Asylum, whereas Henry Polic II did it in B:TAS.
Tasia Valenza voices Poison Ivy in Asylum, whereas Diane Pershing voiced her in the DCAU.
And Asylum was a smash.
Yes, I understand they weren't the Main Characters, but they were prominent enough to make a difference.
The VAs in Suicide Squad were alright for what they had to do and the (admittedly crap) material they had to work with; if anything the horrendous writing made the VAs' jobs a lot worse.
can you please keep you comments to yourself and off this reply board? If you don't have anything nice to say about Suicide Squad, don't say anything at all.
@Jorja123 This particular reply board is supposed to be thoughts from the community as to why they believe the Suicide Squad did not meet expectations.
If you don't like such comments, or even the topic as a whole, why are you on this thread to begin with?
My parents always say to keep your comments to yourself. As in, in your head and not out loud.
Yet, you seem to have no problem repeatedly offering up your own comments. Again, I'm uncertain why you are even bothering aside from wanting to incite an argument.
You have a track record of insulting and arguing with individuals on this site. And it seems the issues we had from two years ago when you were banned for a month are again coming back.
Consider this your warning: continue to argue, insult, deride, or pester community members and you'll be gone from the site for much longer than a month this time.
