The Aerial Juggle is an attack introduced in Batman: Arkham Knight, and is only available in this game.

Gameplay[]

The Ultra Stun (known as the Super Stun in Batman: Arkham Origins) is a move that can be executed by performing three consecutive Stuns. It was first introduced in Batman: Arkham City as a way to stun Titans, but it can also be done on average-sized enemies. The Ultra Stun doesn't deal damage to those enemies, only sends them airborne for a good amount of time before they fall and are grounded for quite some time.

The basic way to execute an Aerial Juggle is to Ultra Stun an averaged-sized henchman, then immediately strike him as he is falling (Stun x 3 > Strike). This move is available for all male characters and Catwoman, and not for Batgirl and Harley Quinn. When performing this move, the character Ultra Stuns the enemy as normal, then kick him sideways, dealing a heavy blow that blast him far away hitting others in the way, and that can finish a lone enemy immediately. Red Hood is an exception: instead of kicking the enemy, he shoots him twice with his dual pistols, killing him instantly.

The Ultra Stun is a slow move, therefore there is a quicker way to do it which is available as an additional upgrade. Instead of doing an Ultra Stun, you can Batclaw an enemy, then stun him once as he is staggering, which will have the same effect as an Ultra Stun. This move is, of course, only available for characters who use Batclaws, namely Batman, Nightwing and Azrael.

Unlike most other non-Takedown moves, when you're performing an Aerial Juggle, other enemies will immediately stop their incoming attack midway, which encourages its use as it is the only notable new move in Arkham Knight.

An Aerial Juggle adds 2 combat multipliers, then 10 points for each multiplier, and 1 combat variation for a single combat encounter or round. It can be done before Freeflow Combat, and it immediately adds 2 multipliers to help initiate it.
