Arleen Sorkin was an American actress, screenwriter, television presenter and comedian. Sorkin served as the real-life inspiration and voice for DC Comics character Harley Quinn, co-created by her friend Paul Dini on Batman: The Animated Series as part of the DC Animated Universe, which she would continue to voice in later DCAU projects, such as Superman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, Gotham Girls, Static Shock and Justice League. She would later reprise her role as Harley Quinn in Batman: Arkham Asylum and again in DC Universe Online, the latter of which being her final performance as the character before her retirement.
Trivia[]

- Jennifer Hale also reprised her role from the DCAU as Killer Frost in Batman: Assault on Arkham, however the film would be rendered non-canon.
