Bane's Militia is a group of former Peña Duro inmates turned mercenaries, who were assembled to fight under the command of Bane. The militia's second-in-command is Bird.

Arkham Origins Incident[]
Bane's Militia appeared during the Christmas Eve Incident, and caused various problems in Gotham City. By the end of the incident or soon afterwards, the militia was disbanded, since Bane and Bird were both sent to Blackgate Prison, and many of its members had been killed or arrested.
Arkham Origins Multiplayer Incident[]
Bane's Militia later fought in a series of gang wars against The Joker and his henchmen. They converted a Wayne Enterprises-owned chemical plant into a facility for mass-producing Venom, which was waylaid by Joker’s gang, while Batman and Robin tried to stop it. They also waylaid Joker’s gang at The Joker's Funhouse, which was being used as a facility for producing Smilex gas. Both sides fought while Batman and Robin attempted to put a stop to it. After a riot had taken place at Blackgate Prison, Bane’s Militia (and Joker’s gang) had attempted to seize this opportunity to rescue their imprisoned comrades, which resulted in a turf war which resulted in numerous members of both parties escaping, while Batman and Robin attempted to contain the situation. Later, after discovering a sinkhole leading to the derelict-but-still-functioning Mechanical Guardian Factory at Wonder City, Bane’s Militia would battle Joker’s gang for control over the Mechanical Guardians contained within, while Batman and Robin attempted to stop both parties concerned in their tracks.
After Arkham Origins Multiplayer Incident[]
With Bane devolving into a brute with a lack of foresight due to his obsession with killing Batman, the group ultimately chose to ditch Bane. Most left to go be soldiers of fortune or simply integrated into the Gotham Underworld to make a living.

- Conversations from Batman: Arkham Knight confirmed that some members of the Arkham Knight's Militia were also involved in Bane's Militia during Batman: Arkham Origins.
