Crimes in Progress are random encounters in Batman: Arkham Origins.
When a Crime in progress occurs, a red arrow appears in the top right-hand corner, along with a distance (in meters) counter as well.
The crimes vary from a gun deal, a robbery, a shoot-out, a gang fight, a ninja attack, an attack on a lone person, and a car crash.
