Freeze World

The Freeze World is the third of the Elseworlds and the world Mrs. Freeze originates from.

History

Scientist Victoria Frias fell in love at first sight with her future wife Nora, having met her at an environment conference; smitten with the environmental realist. Victoria nearly blew her chance due to being too shy, but Nora was just as smitten with her and gave Victoria her phone number. Much like the Earth-1 Victor and Nora, the two fell in love and married. Just like them, this led to Nora becoming fatally ill and her wife freezing her. Frias eventually resorted to crime once her grant money dried up, needing all she could to save up and go off the grid.

Much like the other worlds, the residents of this world came under attack by Brainiac. Amanda Waller created a Task Force X to retaliate and kept asking Victoria Frias to help fight back. Eventually everyone on this Earth died, leaving only Mrs. Freeze and her cryogenically preserved wife left as survivors.

An unknown amount of time passed, with Frias being remotely sane due to always having her preserved wife to talk to. Eventually Waller and Hack made contact with Frias and offered Ivy, Lex-2 and Toyman's help in looking for a cure; just with the small caveat of joining her Task Force, whom were being more successful in fighting off Brainiac.

• Zeppo Sky Tours - The mooring point of the Zeppo blimps that flew through the city of Meteopolis, now stranded in the snow.
• The Terraformer - The remains of a device created by Brainiac for use in his plan to convert the Earth to New Colu, which had been destroyed by Mrs. Freeze’s catastrophic plan.
• Hob’s Bay - A district in Metropolis, where the city docks were situated.

Trivia

• In Mrs. Freeze's intro, her Amanda Waller looks just like her Assault on Arkham counterpart. This suggests a variation of that film happened in this world.
• A major change to this world is the dynamic of how Victoria and Nora Frias' marriage; Nora is very much in charge, with Victoria never going against her wishes.
  • They worked on environmentally friendly improvements in cryogenics and plant life together; even doing some light eco-terrorism by sabotaging corporations and mild arson.
  • Victoria plans to use the cold resistant plants Nora created in order to reboot their world; much like how Poison Ivy manipulated Mr. Freeze into helping her with a similar plan in the Batman and Robin film.
    • The main difference is the Freeze World is already screwed, so them doing anything with frozen wasteland would be an improvement.
• Before this world fully began manifesting on Earth-1, a small pocket of it was in an alley in Suicide Slums; on a ledge overlooking Wonderland. This seems to be an intentional trend by the developers to let players with a keen eye have a hint in advance about what the next world would be.
  • A piece of the Clock Tower can be seen next to Wayne Bank, suggesting that Season 3 takes place in an Elseworlds Gotham City. This would be confirmed with the release of Season 3, and the inclusion of an Elseworld's Gotham City dominated by Scarecrow's Fear Toxin.
