Gorilla Grodd is a super-intelligent Gorilla who gained his mental powers after being exposed to the radiation of a mysterious meteorite and was later incarcerated in Iron Heights Penitentiary.
Incident Reports[]
Events of Arkham Knight[]
At some point, Grodd was captured, presumably from Gorilla City by the Flash, and was imprisoned in Iron Heights Penitentiary where he would be subjected to twisted experiments by Warden Ranken. Eventually, longtime Batman enemy and fellow inmate of Grodd, Waylon Jones, or he was mostly known as Killer Croc, escaped his cage and caused Iron Heights to crash into Gotham Bay. During the chaos, Grodd was able to escape his cage, but not before leaving his name written on his cell wall, presumably as a message for Batman. After escaping Iron Heights, Grodd's current whereabouts remain unknown.
