Kill Arkham Asylum Incident[]
During Amanda Waller’s orchestrated breakout of Arkham Asylum, Hypnotic would encounter Spellbinder, Crazy Quilt, and Mad Hatter, all of whom have similar powers to him, and they would work together to break out. At some point, they saw Captain Boomerang kill some prison guards, and after some convincing, Captain Boomerang is hired by the hypnotists with the promise of easy riches, with Hypnotic in particular offering a suitcase full of money. Together, they would work together to escape, running into Condiment King in the process. Soon they would find themselves in a massively chamber, where Waller made her presence known using a massive screen, enacting a free-for-all-style deathmatch between them. The hypnotists initially had an edge on Captain Boomerang and Condiment King, but the effort was too great. Hypnotic was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of mind control, and was killed via spontaneous cranial eruption.
