Intergang is a world-wide crime syndicate headquartered in Metropolis armed with technology supplied by the New Gods of the planet Apokolips. Their leader is a brutal madman named Bruno Mannheim although he takes orders from Darkseid. This other-worldly connection supplies them with alien technology and weaponry to fight their enemies on Earth. Due to being based in Metropolis, Intergang clashed several times with the city's super-hero, Superman and the Justice League.
