Kano is a member of the Black Dragon Gang, and features in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. He is one of the few original characters, debuting in the first Mortal Kombat arcade game. He was the first member of the Black Dragon to appear in the series, followed by many others. He appears in Batman: Arkham City Lockdown as a Secret Boss.

Kano's appearance is directly based on his Alternate look in Mortal Kombat 9.

Butterfly Knifes[]
Butterfly Knives are a primary weapon that are utilized by the Black Dragon mercenary Kano in Mortal Kombat. He uses his knives in combat, whether this being up-close and person to his opponent or throwing them at the opponent from a distance. The knives are mostly, if not always, incorporated into Kano's basic attacks, combos, specials and Fatalities.
Kano's Bionic Eye[]
This Cybernetic Eye Implant gives the Black Dragon mercenary leader Kano the ability to have several vision modes such as infrared vision, x-ray and is capable of firing a deadly laser. It is the result of facial damage which Kano had sustained at the hands of Jax prior to the events of the Mortal Kombat series. It first appeared along with him in the first Mortal Kombat game and has been shown throughout the entire series. It later reappeared as another collectible Relic renamed Kano's Mask within Mortal Kombat: Armageddon´s Konquest mode. It is located out the front of the Lin Kuei Temple.
Cybernetic Heart[]
Kano is a Human with no supernatural abilities but with his connections to the Underground Black Market, he is able to get his hands on Advanced Cybernetic Technology. He has used his connections for profit but also to constantly upgrade his cybernetics, such as the Cybernetic "Heart" he wears on a Bandolier across his chest. This device serves as a Power Supply for all his Cybernetic Enhancements and when activated it boost his power and strength.

- This version of Kano has theoretically faced off against two different versions of Batman, the first Batman that appeared along with other DC characters in the Crossover game Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, and the second being Batman from the Arkhamverse.
