Leslie Willis is the electricity manipulating super-villain known as Livewire. Originally a "shock jock" radio personality, Leslie gained widespread popularity (and scorn) for her tirades against the Man of Steel. She later turned to crime after losing her job at the station and becoming a metahuman, all of which she blames Superman for causing.

- Livewire was an original creation for the DCAU (DC Animated Universe), created for Superman: The Animated Series and later incorporated into DC comics, though she made her first appearance in March 1997 in the Superman Adventures #5 tie-in comic, a few months before her debut episode aired.
