Sean Riley was an Irish mob boss in Gotham City, and was the father of Peyton Riley, the second Ventriloquist.

Before Arkham Shadow Incident[]
Sean Riley had become the most prominent Irish mobster in Gotham City. He operated out of his bar, Riley's Old Irish Pub Bar, which he built himself. He also got married and had children, including a daughter named Peyton.
Arkham Shadow Incident[]
During the riots carried out by the Rats, Sean remained inside his bar with his 12 gauge shotgun to protect it from being looted. One night, he explained to his wife on the phone that he would not leave the bar in danger, and that he needed to teach their children to protect what is theirs. He then told her to take their children and go stay with his cousin until the riots stopped.
After Arkham Shadow Incident[]
It’s unknown what happened to Sean afterwards, but it is known that his daughter Peyton went on to become the second Ventriloquist after Arnold Wesker.
Trivia[]
- While not seen, Sean makes a voice cameo in Batman: Arkham Shadow, as he can be heard from outside his bar talking with his wife on the phone.
