Inheriting Techniques[]
I saw an earlier comment saying that someone couldn't inherit techniques from someone else. But it depends on exactly what is meant by techniques.
Fighting styles - stances, blocks, thrusts, counter-thrusts, etc... could all be considered techniques and thus could in essence inherit those skills from a good instructor. It's like passing down the legacy and techniques of a fighting school.
I understand that the part in question was inheriting it after a person's demise, which I agree with doesn't make sense, but if Nightwing is the best skilled person that has been hand taught by the Batman, does he inherit the mantle of being master in Batman's unique fighting style?
